My favourite piece of art

Hi everyone!!
Today I'm going to talk about my favourite piece of art. I'm colocolina, Colo-Colo is my favourite football team. I love it! . I think that my favourite piece of art is the "Copa Libertadores de América" that Colo-Colo won 5th, June of 1991 . This day Colo-colo won 3-0 against Olimpia.

The football players that played  in Libertadores de América were: Daniel Morón , Lizardo Garrido, Miguel Ramirez, Javier Margas, Eduardo Vilches, Gabriel Mendoza, Rubén Espinoza, Juan Carlos Peralta, Jaime Pizarro, Marcelo Barticciotto and Rubén Martínez managed by  Mirko Jozic. Is my favorite piece of art because it represents the sacrifice and fight of the colocolina people.

Although I was not born yet, win the Copa Libertadores of America is a historical event in my life, I hope that in 2015 happens again, to the happiness of all colo-colo fans.

Now, colo-colo is second in the league. The first is Universidad de Chile, but in the super classic of the chilean football Colo-colo will win. I´m sure!. 

The next year Colo-Colo play the Copa Libertadores again, with Matías Fernández, Fabián Orellana and Paredes I´m sure that we will win. 

My favorite music

Hi classmates and teacher!!

Today, I’m going to tell you about my favorite music. Honestly, I like a lot of singers like Phil Collins, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Alicia Keys , Adele and Fergie  and bands like The Beatles and Journey. But my favorite is The Beatles.  The Beatles were an English rock band formed by John Lennon (guitar, vocals), Paul McCartney (bass, vocals), George Harrison (guitar, vocals) and Ringo Starr (drums, vocals).

I love lots of songs of the Beatles, like Let it be, All you need is love, Hey Jude and Yesterday.  My favorite song of the Beatles is Let it be, it’s a hymn for me, helps me forget my problems and be happy with that I have.  This is my favorite part:

Now, I’m feel so sad and I think in Yesterday, my second favorite song, this song represent how I feeling now, I feel a lots of emotions with this song.  I love it!

The most beautiful place ...

Hello teacher and classmates!!
Today I'm going to talk about a country I would like to visit.

 I love Europe, and the place that I`d like to visit is Paris, I love Paris because is a beautiful city, I want to know the Eiffel Tower, one of the most beautiful building of the world, the triumph arc, the Louvre Museum and the Moulin Rouge because these places are the most famous of Paris. I`d like to visit Paris with my mother because I want her to know my favourite place and she deserves a good trip. I think I will go to Paris when I get a good job and a lot of money during the summer holidays.


The other place that I want to know is Venecia, in Italia,  because I think that this place is very romantic. I'd like to visit Venecia with my boyfriend, for travel in a boat for all the country. It`s a very romantic idea <3 I think visit that country in the summer too, because I hate the winter.

I will  travel by plane because is more quickly.

Hello classmates and teacher!! 

        My name is María Fernanda . I'm studying psychology in Universidad de Chile. I´m from Peralillo, in the sixth region, when I lived with my mother and grandparents. My mother is called Zaida and my grandparents are María and Hector. I´m studied in  María Auxiliadora School in Santa Cruz, sixth region too. 

         Now I´m live in Santiago for studying, but I miss my family so much L I love my career and I hope be a good psychologist.

I have a lot of hobbies, I love singing, is my passion. I like dancing and listening music, because I feel free. I like writing poems and stories and reading too. 

In this class I hope improve my english because sometimes I can´t express myself easily. With the blog I hope write and express my thoughts on different topics.

My blogging experience

Hi classmates!

Today in the last post,  I'm going to talk about my blogging experience. For me, writing in the blog has been a wonderful experience. I had another blog before, but in Spanish where I wrote stories and poems made by myself. Now, in my English blog I have learned so much, I think that this tool is a very funny way to learn English grammar, lexis and writing.

 I really liked reading my classmates´s blog, they had very entertaining stories about differents topics. I like to write too,  I've always liked writing about different topics and things. It is a way to express what we think.

I think that with the blog I improved my English writing. Before this experience, I could not express myself easily, now I can talk without problems of different topics.Also, the feedback of Miss Vergara helped us to improved ourselves and improve our English in each post.

I plan to continue using the blog to write and express my thoughts on different topics; also I could translate my stories and poems, and write them in English too. I love writing! In the language it to be.

I hope you all had a nice experience writing the blog too.

My winter holidays

Hello Classmates!

 I´m going to tell you about my winter holidays. This holiday I think to travel to my house, Peralillo sixth region, because I haven’t seen my family a long time ago and I miss them very much. The truth is that I have not thought about what will I do on my vacation, but I would like to meet my friends because I have not seen them a long time ago, I think we should have a good conversation, go to parties and have a good time.

I think I will travel alone, and when I get home the first thing that I'll do is sleep too much, rest and eat delicious food. My grandmother is the best cooker in the world, she always prepares lemon pie, lasagna, cakes and more. I would also like visiting my uncles who live in the city, on july 20^th it will be my uncle’s  birthday and the family will celebrate it.

I think my ideal vacation would be with my family in the south, visiting beautiful places, I would visit Chiloé because I do not know that city and my grandparent told me it was beautiful, I’d also like to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Villarica and Pucon once again, those are places that I love, but on the summer holidays, because on winter it is very cold.

Brazil and the World Cup

Brazil is a country located in South America. It is the world's fifth largest country. It borders Guayana Francesa, Surinam, Guyana and Venezuela to the North; Colombia to the Northwest; Bolivia and Peru to the West; Paraguay and Argentina to the Southeast, and Uruguay to the South. Its capital city is Brasilia and its largest city is Sao Paulo. Its total population is 201,032,714 inhabitants. Its official language is Portuguese and Catholicism is its predominant religion. The form of government in Brazil is a federal presidential republic, where the president is Dilma Rousseff.

 Lately, a series of protests have been occurring in Brazil due to the people’s discontent with the ruling, the Brazilian political system in general, the economic mismanagement, corruption and the rising taxes. But one of the most important reasons for people’s discontent is the 2014 World Cup, which they see as a waste of public resources because of the building of stadiums and the associated works in a country with major problems of education and health. I believe that making the World Cup in Brazil has been very harmful to the country since expenditures totaled 14.000 millions of dollars, an excessive amount of money for a country with so many internal issues. My prediction for the World Cup in Brazil is that Chile will surprise everyone, will leave out Spain and Brazil and will win the World Cup against Argentina, winning 3-2.
